The community makes joint effort to preserve national cultural herritages

Along with care from the Party, State, authorities of all levels, awareness and responsibility of the resident community in the province in preserving national traditional cultural feature have been raised, contributing to diversifying the spiritual living condition.

The preservation of cultural features, heritages is specified as one of the important requirements which have great impact on socio-economic condition of the locality. Therefore, the province has introduced specific and positive policies as well as measures of preserving cultural heritage in the province.

For example, the Provincial Party Committee issued the Program No.09 on "Building and developing Vietnamese cultural base which is advanced and imbued with national identity; Resolution No. 22 on "tasks and solutions to preserving the cultural features of ethnic groups in the province"; the Provincial People's Council issued the Resolution No. 329 on carrying out the project "Preserving, promoting trational festivals, patterns, gongs and musical instruments of the resident ethnic groups".

Apart from that, thanks to support from UNESCO, relevant departments and agencies have actively built up programs and plans to implement the activities of preversing national cultural heritages which were excitedly accepted and adopted by the staffs working on cultural field and the artists in the province. As a result, the awareness of the resident community was visibly elevated, and a large number of  of traditional cultural values were promoted, creating great power of spreading in the resident community.

The preservation of cultural heritages including both material and immaterial herritages was carried out in quite a simultaneous manner. Most of the fesstivals were held in conformity with regulations, the ritual took place formally, economically and in conformity with habits and custom of the locatlity. The festivals include a wide and diversified range of appealing activities, creating the power of spreading, attracting the participation of a large number of tourists and resident people.

Besides learning, restoring traditional festivals, folk songs and dance, performing gongs… of the ethnic groups such as M'nong, Ma, E de, the policy on socilizing the repair to relics was deeply and widely implemented, attracting the participation of various social sources.

A number of projects, science project on immaterial cultural heritage were carried out. Also, the investigation, researching, collecting and restoring of precious materials like dances, songs, festivals, secrets for traditional crafts … have been under way.

The researching, investigating, counting, evaluating of cultural and history relic in order to preserve and promote the their value were paid attention to, and effectively implemented. Nowadays, the province has 10 relics including history relics, cultural relics and beauty spots which have been ranked; Of which, 9 are ranked as national level; 1 is of provincial level. A number of relics such as B4 interprovincial resistance base IV, Dak Mil priso; Hill 772 – Dak Sak have been  planned, restored, embellished and introduced to people for visiting and learning.

To get best results out of the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage value, besides care from levels of People's Committee, authorities, unions, the role and responsibility of resident community were also promoted. Intensification of propaganda to raise awareness of the communinty towards the value of cutural heritage, responsibility for buiding healthy cultural environment have been carried out under various forms.

The agencies working on cultural field must cooperate with other agencies in publishing, advertizing, propagandizing via summary records, tourism handbooks, displaying cutural photos and products at tourism sites. Especially, on each occasion of holding, or reappearing festivals, the staffs in charge have to meet the eldlers who are knowledgeable about traditional culture of the nation to consult them about how to organize the festivals as well as the essays for divine worship rituals. Showing respect for opinions of the community helped build up trust in the people, raise up responsibility, and the determination to take action to keep the treasure of cultural heritages  lasting forever and becoming more and more valuable.
