On the morning of February 5, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Ngo Thanh Danh chaired a meeting to listen to the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee report on the implementation of the Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) Expressway Project.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ngo Thanh Danh requested that Dak Nong must closely coordinate with the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province and relevant ministries and branches every day, every hour. Particularly, the People's Committee of Dak R'lap district must work day and night to ensure the progress of preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony. The Provincial People's Committee assigned specific responsibilities to each unit, avoiding the situation of waiting until the last minute to jump.

According to the report of the Provincial Department of Transport, the Provincial People's Committee has directed departments and branches to closely coordinate with Binh Phuoc province and the consortium of investors in the process of organizing the preparation of the feasibility study report for component project 1.

According to the plan of the Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee, it is expected that before February 28, 2025, the feasibility study report for component project 1 will be submitted for appraisal and approval.

The implementation of component projects 2 and 4 is dependent on component project 1. It is expected that on February 14, 2025, the consulting unit will hand over to the investor the centerline of the main expressway and the boundary of the project clearance through Dak Nong to carry out the next procedures.

Currently, investors are developing a task outline and consulting cost estimates to carry out the work of appointing consulting contractors according to regulations.

The province has planned to allocate development investment capital from the local budget in 2024 and public investment capital in 2025 for the project, with a total cost of VND250 billion.

At the meeting, investors and related units and localities raised difficulties, discussed and proposed solutions to ensure project progress.
