During the meeting, Vice Chairman Le Trong Yen expressed his pleasure and optimism for a bright future in Vietnam-India relations. He emphasized that Dak Nong province, in collaboration with the Indian Embassy and Consulate General in Vietnam, has actively contributed to strengthening the bilateral relationship.

Dak Nong successfully coordinated with the Indian Consulate General to organize the 9th International Yoga Day in 2023, which gained significant community engagement.

The province also hosted a cultural and artistic exchange program between Dak Nong and India, fostering closer cultural ties between the peoples of both nations.

In the spirit of friendship, the Indian Embassy supported Dak Nong with USD 50,000 from the Quick Impact Project (QIP) fund to build Dak Plao Primary and Secondary School in Dak Glong District.

Additionally, the Indian Consulate General and Dak Nong province worked together to transfer and receive equipment to establish an "India Corner" at Dak Nong Community College.

Both sides have also facilitated visits and working delegations to promote relations and economic cooperation. Notably, in December 2023, the Secretary of the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee led a delegation to India for business and investment discussions.

With its strategic location and abundant natural resources, Dak Nong holds great potential in industries such as agriculture, trade, services, tourism, and minerals. Vice Chairman Le Trong Yen expressed his hope that the Consul General would continue to support and collaborate with the province across various sectors, further strengthening cultural and economic ties.

Mr. Vipra Pandi, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, expressed his gratitude for the warm and hospitable reception from Dak Nong’s leaders. He affirmed his willingness to support and cooperate with the province in the future.
