Phap Hoa Pagoda

Phap Hoa Pagoda is a developed Buddhist pagoda (Northern Buddhism, Mahayana Buddhism) located on Hung Vuong Street (Chu Van An), Quang Thanh Commune, Gia Nghia City. This is considered a large, beautiful, and long-standing pagoda in Dak Nong Province.

The pagoda was first built around 1957. In 1960, Master Tri Huy (who passed away in 1970) rebuilt the pagoda roof with corrugated iron, and named it Quang Duc Buddhist Recitation Hall (the same name as Quang Duc Province at that time). Later, the pagoda was rebuilt and renamed Phap Hoa Pagoda in 1969. In 2001, Venerable Thich Quang Hien became the abbot and mobilized the reconstruction of the spacious pagoda to this day.

Phap Hoa Pagoda, the largest in Gia Nghia City, is located on a poetic hill overlooking Gia Nghia Central Lake. Opposite the other side of the lake is the dreamy Gia Nghia Parish. The architecture of Phap Hoa Pagoda is in the typical Asian style often seen in Northern Buddhist pagodas in Vietnam, with a three-door gate, main hall, curved roof...

Phap Hoa Pagoda has a peaceful, ancient beauty but is no less majestic, bearing the beauty of traditional Vietnamese pagodas with a magnificent curved red roof with dragon motifs. The pagoda is located on a high hill facing the Southeast, in front of a large valley scene, so the air here is very fresh and airy, helping you feel comfortable and relaxed.

In addition, the Buddha hall is solemnly decorated with Buddha and Bodhisattva statues, creating a nostalgic feeling for visitors. Right in the temple grounds is a large statue of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara and large and small statues of Buddha Shakyamuni, Buddha Maitreya, Dharma Protectors... in the area, arranged harmoniously and solemnly.

Phap Hoa Pagoda is an attractive check-in location

In addition to the sacred moments of burning incense to pray for blessings inside, the outside of the temple is also an attractive check-in location because from the campus looking down, visitors will see a beautiful landscape with undulating hills, lush green trees that are both wild and beautiful. A small suggestion for you is that when taking pictures here, you should prepare for yourself blue clothes or traditional costumes, which will help your photos become nostalgic, ancient and equally eye-catching.
