The Bang Mo Volcano scenic site, located in Residential Group 4, Ea T’ling Town, Dak Nong, has been officially recognized as a provincial-level heritage site. This volcano is a typical example of a central eruption type, dating back 200,000 - 600,000 years.

On December 28, 2024, according to information from the Center for Investment Promotion, Enterprise Support and Management of Dak Nong Geopark, a group of experts including Dr. La The Phuc, Deputy Director of the Institute of Applied Geology and Minerals Research and volcanic cave expert Luong Thi Tuat discovered a completely new lava cave in the Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark area, after comparing with records of previously known caves.
